~~~~~~~~~
J is for jacket.
Preschool Pickins - Letter H
So letter H is the focus here, but of course we have h-h-heaps more.  Here are some things we did this week, as well as letter H activities.
Lacing letter H
Put an X on the objects that are different.
(After thinking about it, I should have had him try to write letter H!)
Photo: Which one is different? #preschool #homeschool #homeschooling
~~~~~~~~~

Find and circle every Hh

Photo: Hh! #preschool #homeschool #homeschooling

~~~~~~~~~
Large, medium and small -  circle the smallest owl, apple, and leaf.  Circle the largest squirrel, acorn, and raccoon.
Color just eight smiley faces.  He didn't exactly follow directions but he did this as quickly as my 8 year old would.  I was impressed. :)
Photo: His version of coloring. But he figured out how many to "color" as fast as my 8 year old...Lockett split. #preschool #homeschool #homeschooling
~~~~~~~~~

I found this at a dollar store in our mall.  You guessed it, it was $1!

Photo: $1 puzzle. I'll buy that for a dollar. #homeschool #preschool #homeschooling

Upper/lowercase match-ups.

This is one of his favorite things to do because he's so good at it.  So, we do it a lot because he feels so great about himself when he is finished.

Preschool Pickins - Letter G

Letter Gg

 (Okay, there's more here than letter G.  It's how it is. Show me some g-g-grace.)

~~~~~~~~~~
God is good!
GOD starts with letter G!
"Let my people GO!"
~~~~~~~~~

We read about God's people marking their doors with lamb's blood so the oldest boys in each house would be passed over and not die.

Mommy: "The king didn't listen to God and now he's sad.  Do you listen to God?"

Bug: "Yeah, and then my son won't be dead."

~~~~~~~~~
G is for
God
Giraffe
Glue
Green
Glove
Golf Ball
Girl
and so much more!
I started doing letter recall with letter magnets and a cookie sheet this week -  just 4 at a time each day so Bug isn't too confused.
X N W A, I'm gonna take one letter away, which one is missing?
I turn the cookie sheet around so he can't see, remove a letter, and ask him to recall it.  He loves this!
Great job using your pinchers!
Circle capital and lower case G!
Mr. Guggle Buggle actually asked when bedtime was coming, so Mommy snuggled him into the pack-n-play. Preschool is tiring!
